RiverRock Clinic Says Hello to Local Reps
We had such a great time connecting with local political leaders in Asheville and North Carolina at the Asheville Chamber’s event last week! At this event, we had the opportunity to:
- Said hi to Asheville council members like BBo Hess for Asheville City Council a big proponent of public safety (and safety includes health)
- Chatted with State Rep. RRepresentative Lindsey Prathera supporter of health in North Carolina with fewer administrative barriers, such as decreasing insurance prior authorizations that delay patient care
- Connected with someone from the new Advent Hospital coming near our clinic (Weaverville)
- Enjoyed the feta-beet-honey spread catered by the local Everyday Gourmet Catering
Health isn’t just personal—it’s shaped by culture and politics. We encourage our community and patients to stay informed, speak up, and get involved—meet your reps is a great first step! Thank you Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting this annual event.
