Osteopathic Manual Therapy
Dr. Lok provides osteopathic manual therapy (OMT) as a separate, add-on service to the membership and typically has a waitlist for non-member OMT. OMT is a hands-on technique that Osteopathic Physicians use to treat bodily issues such as back pain, neck pain, and wrist pain. OMT also treats the body as a whole thus can be helpful in conditions such as heartburn, migraines, and anxiety. In many cases, OMT can be used to complement, or even to avoid unnecessary drugs or surgery. A patient can expect to recline on a patient table and experience having their back gently popped similar to a chiropractor and moving arms/legs similar to a physical therapist with relaxing music in the background. She also utilizes myofascial release, muscle energy and gentle repositioning of joints. She tends to work on a subtle level to make profound realignments in the body. Her approach is that of reverence for the body/spirit of the person she is working on.
In a wheelchair? No problem, Dr. Lok can do OMT in a wheelchair, OMT for pregnant peoples and infant OMT.
Session duration: 55 minutes
$225 per session for non-members (for non-members, there is currently a waitlist, please email info@RiverRockClinic.com to be added)

Pranic-healing/Cranial-Sacral healing
Dr. Lok provides pranic healing which is a type of energy healing similar to Reiki but utilizes physician visualizing of anatomy, chakras, and colors to eliminate energy/attachments that no longer serve then balance energy centers in a way that is in alignment with self and environment. A session with Dr. Lok is unique as she works gently in the physical realm utilizing cranial sacral therapy as an Osteopath to connect both the energetic and the physical realms.
